Made a couple different things these past couple weeks. Tried my hand at two things I'e never done before. The first project was a set of bamboo wind chimes. Love em! Think they came out rather nice. Much better than the factory mass produced ones. :)

The second was turning an old gourd a friend gave me into a birdhouse. I donated that to a silent auction to help raise funds for a local family who just lost 3 of their 5 children in a vehicle accident. Very sad. Hopefully it found a great home.

I enjoyed working with the gourd though. It was fun. Can't wait to do it again.

Pictures of the gourd and chimes are now up on the site. I took some of the gourd both uncolored and clear coated and after. Can decide which I like better.
